CONSTANȚA, Romania, 21st July, 2026 (WAM) — DP World and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed a loan agreement of up to €25 million to support the electrification of operations at DP World’s Constanța South Container Terminal. The financing is the terminal’s first dedicated green loan and forms part of a €100 million investment programme that will reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 6,000 tonnes per year. The UAE has expressed its solidarity with the Republic of India over the victims of floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries, as well as significant damage. At least 25 people were killed after torrential rain triggered floods and landslides across northern and northeastern India over the weekend, officials said on Monday, with more heavy rainfall forecast in the coming days.
