A fire broke out across the top floors of the North Tower of the Emirates Financial Towers in the early hours after midnight on Thursday morning. Eyewitnesses reported seeing clouds of smoke billowing out of the tower. Orange flames could also be seen erupting from the top floors of the building. ABU DHABI, 17th June, 2026 (WAM) — The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has decided to maintain the Base Rate applicable to the Overnight Deposit Facility (ODF) at 3.65%.
