An expat has been killed in an incident involving falling debris on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

A successful interception of a drone by UAE air defence forces resulted in debris falling on a farm in Fujairah. The incident resulted in the death of a Bangladeshi expat.

This brings the total death toll in the UAE since the beginning of the US-Israel-Iran war to 12. Most of the fatalities have been caused by falling debris after interceptions. Among the deceased were two members of the armed forces who died while performing their duty, as well as a Moroccan civilian contracted by the armed forces.
