At first glance, Mohammed Joha’s art appears abstract. There are patches of blue, pink and green against grey, with pieces of fabric, paper and cardboard stitched and layered across the canvas. Look closer and the materials start to tell their own story. Some were salvaged. Others came from Joha’s own clothes.
