XICHANG, China, 17th June, 2026 (WAM) — China on Tuesday successfully launched a Long March-3B carrier rocket, blasting a new satellite named Shijian-31 into space. The rocket lifted off at 5:45 pm (Beijing Time) from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. In a major infrastructure development aimed at easing traffic congestion between Sharjah and Dubai, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has announced the construction of a new double-lane underground tunnel connecting Sharjah to Dubai.
